Description

Here is an amazing copy of At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers on an original USA pink label Capricorn SD2-802 vinyl LP pressing. The jacket is a pro VG+ mostly for wear on the edges as were typical with the finish and thickness of this jacket, and there are a few crinkles in the finish. There are no splits, cuts, holes, notches, ring wear, rips or tears usually associated with this title of this vintage. The LP’s are a pro and conservative VG+, only for a light mark across the first track  of side one that does NOT sound! In fact I played all four sides and it played a beautiful near mint with little to no noise other than an occasional tick between tracks. This copy plays better than visual and  WHAT SOUND!!! When side three and four starts there is some brief dialog introducing the song, it sounds like you are at the venue!! HEAVY BASS too!! Plus great sound staging if your system is set up correctly!! All four sides also sport the AT/GP initials indicating the cutting of George Piros whose cutting always sound the best!! There are no spindle marks on any of the sides. This is the finest example of this title and rare in this condition!!! Contains the staples Whipping Post, In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed, Hot ‘Lanta, Statesboro Blues among a couple of other smoking titles!!!! Don’t miss out on this best sounding copy!!!
