Description
Alma Brasileira ‘Samba Marca Registrada Brasil’
CBS (1977) Original Brazilian issue.
Incredible, funky samba arranged by Lincoln Olivetti and Robson Jorge. Includes the massive, deep afro-Brazilian funk tune 'Pra Oxala' and several other funky cuts such as 'Catuco', 'Peixeiro' and 'Na tonga da mironga do cabulete' all done in the Black Rio style. Sleeve has humidity/water staining, there is a small tear to the mouth of the sleeve and there are stamps to the record label but the record plays beautifully, as you can hear from the clips. Featured in Wax Poetics Brazil special. Hard to find.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration.
