Description
This is one of RCAs first recordings in stereo, recorded in 1954 but not released until 1960. This is a ultra rare copy matrix numbers 1s,A1 1s, A1 there were only 400 to 500 of these pressed 53 yrs ago in Indy, TAS has had this recording on its list forever. This is a must have for any classical collector now is your opportunity to own it. Record has been cleaned on VPI 16.5 as well as steam cleaned, no marks of any kind on either side, looks brand new, with a wonderful shine, looks like got very little play. Side 1 VG++, side2 VG+ a little surface noise at the end but its minimal very quiet passage. Cover has the advertising tag removed, however it to looks excellent, no marks, no seam splits, no writing, back has original price tag from Lazarus dept store in Cin ,Oh also stamp in lower rt corner, maybe inspector mark not sure. This has come up on Ebay going for 300 to 400, this copy maybe one of the best ever offered, I have had it in my collection for 25 yrs, be for me it look like it was very well cared for, international bidders this must be insured, please asked for cost before bidding.
