Back in the late sixties, early seventies, many loudspeaker manufacturers produced LPs intended to be used by their dealer network to demonstrate the state-of-the-art qualities of their loudspeakers.

This is one, the Altec Lansing demo LP, that features wonderfully produced cuts from A&M.

Just try Quincy Jones SUMMER IN THE CITY (great sense of space here), Joan Armatrading IT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER, Rita Coolidge JOURNEY THROUGH THE PAST, Rick Wakeman CATHERINE HOWARD (a synth portrait with great bass), or SAIL AWAY, which will floor you with its sound quality, having real audiophile “juice” from Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee.

Great copy, too: Gatefold cover without fault, record within will play near mint.

Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
