Up for grabs is a selection of USA original Amphetamine Reptile Albums, that I bought new in the day.

The Records have  been stored in plastic sleeves since day one, but the covers still manage to pick up the odd light crease etc. so check the scans..  remember Near Mint is my top grade... many have minor seam splits, because they were shipped to me with the album inside the cover. (something that I never do!) The vinyl is all in superb Near Mint. (most of the albums will only have had 1 or 2 plays.)

MINT:- The record is in brand new (ex factory) condition. with No  surface marks. The cover will be perfect, as will any inserts etc. (never used unless it's a factory sealed item.) THe highest grade I ever use is Near Mint. (M-) And I tend to use this very rarely........

VG++ :- The record shows minor signs of having been played, but there will be little or NO lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging, may have slight wear or creasing A great copy that will satisfy the majority of people

VG+ :- The record has obviously been played., but will have no major deterioration in sound quality. It will have some light surface marks, or even the odd LIGHT needle mark. Normal wear & Tear on the cover and any inserts.

PLEASE NOTE:- with regard to the above, The highest grade I EVER give to unsealed vinyl is Near MINT (M- or NM)  I try to list only vinyl that I consider VG+ or above, and I know from past experience that vinyl I describe as VG+, would be graded Ex, by many others.....

PLAY GRADING:- When I have the time or I believe the record to be sufficiently rare I will play grade. This is not to give a subjective view of the music, but to give an indication of the quality of the playback.

Turntable currently used is a Rega P25 fitted with a Goldring 1042   and listened to via Spendor S6E's. Please trust me, in that If I say a recording plays/sounds GREAT.. it does!!
