Up for sale is an almost perfect copy of the classic fado vinyl LP- Amalia Rodrigues' "Fado and Flamenco Favorites, " Angel 65039. Since this record has been opened, I have to grade the record as NM. However, this is an exceptional copy- still crisp and shines. It looks as though it has been played only a couple of times. If you look extremely closely, you can detect a very faint surface scratch on cuts 4, 5, and 6 on side two. This faint scratch piqued my curiosity, so I played the album on my personal system to see if it affected play. It didn't. There was no evidence of the scratch either when music was being played or between tracks. ( I use a Music Hall MMF5.1 MKII turntable for my listening enjoyment with a Goldring moving magnet cartridge and stylus - not super high end, but certainly no slouch either. If there was any noise during playback I would have heard it). The inner sleeve is the original Angel sleeve with plastic lining. The outer sleeve is in NM condition with the original shrink wrap still in tact. No bumps or creases. There is a faint evidence of the record circle. The only other flaw is an ever so slight rub on the bottom lower right corner of the cover where the shrink had exposed the corner, but it is minimal.
