Here's the short scoop: TWO TEST PRESSINGS, one from EACH of AMBITIONS' BRIDGE 9 RELEASES so far, available TOGETHER, as a benefit to fight HIV/AIDS, in memory of Jake's uncle Bill. The longer version: These are test pressings of the releases from the Stranger sessions, (March-June 2007) at Silver Bullet Studios in Burlington, CT. Test Pressings of both the Stranger LP (November 6th, Bridge 9 records) and the Exile EP (September 4th, Bridge 9 Records) are included. This is the first time any test pressings of these releases have been available, and it is almost certain they won't be available as a set again. These test pressings are both EXTREMELY rare- only 20 of each exist, and the ones in this auction are from the band's copies. This is a memorial auction for Jake's uncle, Bill Wilson, to benefit A Global Fund for HIV/AIDS TB and Malaria. Bill died on October 10, 2007, at age 50, after a 20+ year struggle with HIV/AIDS. Instead of flowers, he suggested that donations be made to The Global Fund to help other people dealing with the effects of this devastating disease.
