Description

Welcome to another auction by Charis Music Group, we love radio shows and figure you do too or else you wouldn't be looking here! If this isn't the show you're looking for, just write. If we don't have it, chances are Ken Ott (audioavenues) has it!

Charis Music Group is glad to help parties interested in having their Casey Kasem AT40 or Casey's Top 40 sets listed. The majority of our listings are for sellers who cannot do this on their own. Interested sellers may contact us for details. This set is from my personal library.

Having just debuted in October of 1973, this is one of the earliest sets of American Country Countdown. Bob Kingsley was actually the show's producer and engineer at the time and would not go behind the mic until 1978. Hosting from 1973 thru 1978 was county comedian Don Bowman.  Unlike a lot of country stations today that play 'remakes' of these classics, these are the ORIGINAL songs by the ORIGINAL artists!

You are bidding on the multi-LP American Country Countdown set from the week of April 6, 1974.  This is a special called, "The 40 Biggest Country Artists in the History of the Charts." The box is not in the best of condition. LPs are in good shape and we remastered this, as we do with all shows. The remastered CD set included is identical to the one we sent to the archives for future airing. We give these the same attention was the American Top 40 sets we remaster for Premiere Radio. Enjoy host Don Bowman counting down the top 40 songs!
