You are bidding on the multi-LP American Top 40 set from the week of December 13, 1980. The show is identical to the one we sent to the archives for future airing. These are the ORIGINAL, unedited shows as they originally aired.
This show is referred to as the "John Lennon Show." The show was already tracked, LPs pressed and shipped when the death of John Lennon occurred. Upon the news, the AT40 staff worked through the night to cut new segments and a replacement LP was shipped on emergency.
This set has the original and replacement LPs rare enough. However, even rarer is the inclusion of the memo explaining the replacement LP.
