American Top 40 Radio Show #741-4

With Casey Kasem

Air Date of January 26, 1974

 

If you grew up during this time, or just love the music, imagine listening to Casey Kasem talk about all of the wonderful artists as well as what was going on in the music world. Great music for a great time!

 

All three records are in very good condition, NO scratches. Original cue sheets (with notes from the original radio station broadcast) in the original box, also in good condition except for a little wear along corners, and the spine torn a little. It’s also a little dirty, but not bad. It looks like someone at the station might have been reading the newspaper when they got the box out. 

 

It’s January 26, 1974 and Ringo Starr is at the top of the Billboard Chart with YOU’RE SIXTEEN. Coming in at number 2 for the week is Al Wilson with SHOW AND TELL, and at number 3, Barbara Streisand with THE WAY WE WERE.

 

Also on the chart this week are Love Unlimited Orchestra with LOVE’S THEME, Kool & the Gang with JUNGLE BOOGIE, Elton John with GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD, and the Carpenters with TOP OF THE WORLD. At #33 this week is Diana Ross with LAST TIME I SAW HIM.  At #40 is the DeFranco Family with ABRA-CA-DABRA.

 

Sets are shipped in bubble wrap and peanuts. Winner pays $8.00 shipping and handling plus insurance if desired, shipping outside the U.S. would be more.
