Analogue Productions 20th anniversary reissue of Ella Fitzgerald & Joe Pass: Fitzgerald & Pass...Again. Tube signal path Cut from the master tapes using minimal path from a Studer A80 to an SX74 lathe. Sound is superb, but there are tics to the first 2 tracks of side one, ending in the 3rd of the 14 tracks. Side 2 appears to play near mint, and it is a generous 55+ minute lp. I have most of her lp's myself, including the original Pablo of this, and the guitar sound is more equal in the mix on this, with more of the sound of his fingers on the fretboard heard. As a jazz promoter myself for a couple of decades, I can assure you this is how acoustic guitar with an amp is in concert. Thing is with these, a knackered one on discogs is £35 + postage, then they climb through the roof, as this has a bit of age to it now, 1996 was a quarter century ago. A fairly affordable way to hear what all the fuss is about with these AP lp's with their very high end mastering. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
