For auction today: A very rare and perhaps unique offering.
This is the 17.5 minute 2-track from Frost, recorded in 1985.
Music is more strange than the title and that's saying something! I mean, what does the title actually mean???

Tracklist
A1     Super Amoeba     10:00 minutes I would describe this as experimental electronics for sure. Very abstract and with strange, weirdness sounds throughout.

B1     Do You Smell Something Burning?     7:30 minutes Similar to Cabaret Voltaire in style with strange synth sounds and the conversation of an American couple (seemingly from the 1950;s, by their accent and phrasing of words) about a fire that's erupted in the kitchen. Wife calls fire dept. and the conversation with husband and operator is played over the top. Quite an insane idea but it's great!

Crazy stuff all round.

Condition: There is a long/shallow warp on the edge that affected play with jumps for the first minute or so on side-B but then I added slightly more weight to the arm with the counterbalance (about 1/3 of a rotation, only) and it played with no jumps.
I play tested side-A with back to the initial setting of the counterbalance and it played with no jumps, so need to adjust it.

Cover has creases to the corners and the beginnings of a small split to the spine. Lower seam has a 10cm split - as shown in photo.
Labels are clean with no damage. Playing surface is nice and Near Mint - seems seldom played.
Not a great copy but no others exist as far as I am aware so maybe a good opportunity to add a rare gem to your experimental music / Aussie collection, depending on your perspective :-)
