Description

ANDREW HILL      ANDREW!!! The Music of Andrew Hill     Blue Note  BST 84203
Up for auction is an original Blue Note Stereo pressing (1968) of Andrew Hill's 4th lp (chronologically) as leader for Blue Note, "Andrew!!! The Music of Andrew Hill". Recorded in June 1964 (3 months after "Point of Departure"), but unreleased until 1968. Maybe an even more dense listen than its' predecessor. Deep and complex compositions, superbly executed by a top-notch quintet including Bobby Hutcherson and John Gilmore.
DEAD WAX INFO:  Side 1 has BNST-84203-A etched into the dead wax. Side 2 has BNST-84203-B etched into the dead wax. Both sides have VAN GELDER stamped into the dead wax. Original Liberty Stereo pressing, somewhat rare like this.
VINYL VISUAL: VG+ and much better with very minor mottling from paper storage and a couple of light marks. Labels show maybe 1 or 2 plays maximum.
VINYL PLAY GRADE: NM at best with very little noise on lead-ins and between tracks. Probably one of the better listens out there of this particular pressing.
COVER VISUAL: VG and better with some corner bumping and spine wear. Opening where vinyl goes in has minor feathering. All-in-all fairly nice actually.
COMES WITH printed Liberty paper inner of the era (VG+) with splits. Vinyl is held in an Audiophile style rice plastic inner.
PLEASE READ FOR DETAILS ON SELLER AND SHIPPING
HELLO ALL. My name is Jamie, and I have been collecting records steadily for over 45 years.  After a bit of a respite from selling on Ebay, I am back and will be selling a ton of stuff over the next few years. My tastes run all over the map, so there will be something for everyone. All opened items will be visually AND aurally graded. All Dead Wax info will be listed. Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item).
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER).             Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g.
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.
If you have issue with an item, PLEASE work with me to achieve an outcome that will be to your satisfaction. I do offer full refunds (excluding cost to get it back to me), on any item that is not satisfactory.       SINCE SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE (Thank You Canada Post), I will rarely list gatefolds or multi-items for sale overseas. IF ANYONE OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS CRAZY INTERESTED IN ANY ITEM, I WILL QUOTE SHIPPING ON REQUEST. Since a lot of the stuff that I will be selling is of higher end quality, rarely will things be offered overseas. Sorry folks. Again, I can consider requests on an item-by-item basis. THANKS FOR READING, everyone.       Occasionally I will be selling rare and collectible CDs. Shipping obviously will be much less, around $5 CANADIAN within North America.
