NOTE: Recorded on June 25, 1964.
Mono promo copies indicated by sticker at top reading "Audition Mono LP Not for Sale". Catalogue number on labels (BLP 4203) differs from cover (BST 4203). Apparently, (Blue Note never made mono covers promo) and used this sticker to identify mono promo copies. This is very rare album mono.
SIDE 1 and 2: Very Good Plus (VG+) few visual hairlines, scuffs and one or two scratches but nothing deep or fileable and on both sides Some of the luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There are some very light backgrounds noise occasionally during playback with bold audio. Majority of background noise will be heard during quiet passes, in between tracks, and on intro and dead waxes. Still, some will be heard during music but very sporadically. No skips, that impact the sound quality.
CONDITION OF SLEEVE: Very Good Plus (VG+) Some creases and light scrape marks around cover art from handling, corner bends, scratches. discoloration in the back. All spines are mostly 85% intact, 3” split at the bottom of the cover beautiful cover
