Description

This is Blue Note Records BST 84151, Andrew Hill Black Fire, a blue and white, New York USA label, original stereo issue of this classic record with Van Gelder and the ear (p) mark stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG++ condition showing some light marks and playing quietly. There is a bit of very light background crackle audible on some quiet parts. The cover, still in it's original shrink wrap, with the 43 West 61st St., New York 23 address, is excellent and intact. There is a 1" spot on the bottom seam, where the shrink has separated, where there is a bit of wear and a small bump on the open end on the back. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. A Blue Note thumbnail inner sleeve is included as well. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this original Blue Note with all the proper markers evident. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple wins.
