Description
This is the original Van Gelder-stamped stereo pressing of Andrew Hill “Compulsion” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BST 84217. The playing surface is in near-new condition; perhaps played once. The coated New York 23 cover has 2 ½” superficial wear/flaking on the top seam, at the spine; ½” wear/split on the bottom seam, at the opening; ¼” nick on the back, at the opening; shelf wear; light foxing. Blue Note inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Freddie Hubbard, John Gilmore, Cecil McBee, Richard Davis, and Joe Chambers. $100.00.
