Is your name DZL? Perfect! But odds are, you answered “No.” Well, I’ve got a good back story for you. Tell everyone that when you met Andrew, he was very impressed with how strong you looked; he kept calling you Diesel. So, naturally, signed your record “To DZL, Andrew McMahon.” Think about it, it’s not a bad story to have a hand-signed album of his. If this weren’t personalized, you’d be looking at a $100-$200+ price tag. Maybe it was a personalized gift to the famous producer? I honestly have no idea. The jacket shows wear consistent to being handled in a concert environment. The jacket’s creases are hard to see, unless angled in the light just right. See pics. It’s almost invisible without the lighted-just-right angle. The vinyl looks unplayed, just a fingerprint on it. The last photo shows signature comparisons to other times he signed his name. That photo is only for reference and you are not bidding on those items. I don’t really know what kind of price to put on this due to the rare circumstances, so I figure an auction may be best.
