VINTAGE ANDREWS SISTERS/MILLS BROTHERS "RARE" V-DISC - 78 RPM RECORD
1940'S ARMY-NAVY-MARINE CORP-COAST GUARD V-DISC
NICE CONDITION!
Greetings, Up for bid today is a rare vintage V-Disc 78 RPM recording of Andrews Sisters "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" (arguably the most played song for the G.I.'s in WWII) and Mills Brothers "Put Another Chair At The Table". All V-Discs came from the private estate of an avid Audiophile and record collector.
V-Disc No. 526
Side 1 - Mills Brothers - Put Another Chair At The Table
Side 2 - Andrews Sisters - Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy
Overall condition is very nice with minor blemishes as to be expected from a 70 year old record. Record is a bit dusty. I have not cleaned any of the records offered for sale this week. There are a couple of light scratches, but it looks like it will play just fine. I do not own a record player that accepts 78 rpm discs.
Low starting bid with no reserve. Don't miss your chance to own a real part of American musical and wartime history. Please view my other listings this week for more great vintage records!
Thanks for Looking, Good Luck and Happy Bidding!
