Description

ORIGINAL PRESSING excellent condition - no scratches, like brand new. Double LP 180 gram virgin vinyl. Sounds amazing on vinyl! This album followed "Here comes the Indian" a Must-have soon becoming a collector's item, the revolutionary first album to put Animal Collective on the map. HARD To Find don't miss your opportunity to own the orig. of this 2004 pop masterpiece. Happy Bidding! "Their most involving and accessible work to date, 'Sung Tongs' is a stunning, modern folk / pop album - referencing points from Syd Barrett to Fennesz, The Beach Boys to Kompakt-style electronica, Joe Boyd, múm, Simon & Garfunkel. . Beautifully produced, the album is filled with catchy songs and intricate arrangements; built around gorgeous vocal harmonies and twin acoustic guitars. Effortlessly more 'pop' than previous releases, it nevertheless retains the invention and sonic adventure of previous LPs. Whilst restricted distribution / limited pressings have meant previous releases slipping under the radar, here's your chance to discover the Animal Collective at their most engaging. Recommended." -- Bookmat reveiw
