Animals : Pink Floyd vinyl. Excellent condition.
I've played this record all the way through, and can hear only the slightest occasional clicks or static - less than expected from a 42 year old disc! There are a few very faint scuff marks, that I couldn't even photograph, which seem to have no audible impact.
Without going into the technicalities of vinyl recording techniques, I would doubt that anybody could claim that there was no noise from even a brand new record. If they did, then their ears or their Hi-Fi system, was not good enough!
The outer cover has the expected scuff marks from a loved record of this age, while the inner sleeve is hardly marked.
As for this iconic Pink Floyd album, most of the relevant information and numbers can be found in the photos. I don't know about pressings and matrices, but the extra information I can give is the letters/numbers faintly printed near the centre labels: SHVL 815 A2U 4 (Side 1), and SHVL 815 B2U 6 (Side 2).
