Description
Both sides play in EX condition. Side one shows a wee bit of visual wear but sounds great.
Anita Sherman was once the vibraphone player in the soul/R&B band "The 8th Day".
This is a rare solo 45 she cut for A&M Records in 1975.
Both tracks were written and produced by Ray Parker, Jr. He also co-arranged both songs.
This was earlier in Ray's career, 2 years before Raydio's debut LP! You can definitely hear "his stamp" on both tracks.
This is a RARE "Stock Copy" of this 45 - and it features the b-side "Car Of Love".
I Googled, and it appears that very few copies of this Stock 45 still exist. You CAN find promo copies, but they do not include the b-side "Car of Love". I checked eBay, Discogs, Popsike, etc, and no copies are listed as ever having sold or being available. My guess is that this is a rare track.
The disc labels are clean.
The original A&M sleeve shows some signs of wear on the top edge, as seen in photo 3.
