Description
For Sale is a Vinyl Copy of Anne Briggs' Hazards of Love EP on Topic Records.
I try and describe honestly and without the hype usually seen on e-bay ("NEAR MINT", "FANTASTIC" "SUPER RARE" etc etc). However, this one is genuinely as rare as Hen's Teeth! Low starting price to avoid excessive ebay costs but I'm aware of its value.
Overall this is an excellent copy of a wonderful and rare item by England's greatest ever folk singer.

Sleeve in Excellent condition - laminate intact and still very shiny. Minor wear and creasing at the opening edge. Small pen mark in front bottom left hand corner. Foldback rear sleeve intact although there is a minor repair in the top right hand corner. Only let down is some initials and a date on the back, as per the photo.
Vinyl is in Very Good plus condition (others might rate as excellent). Minor scuffing visible under a bright lamp but othwerwise excellent. Kept in a plastic sleeve.

I use the Record Collector grading system as follows:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
