Description
10" 78rpm record featuring singer Annette Hanshaw on Decca 32275, with two-tone brown and black "splatter" - design shellac, dating from circa 1927. This is an electrically-recorded disk. Songs are "Under The Moon" and "Ain't That A Grand And Glorious Feeling" with small intrumental group accompaniment. Nice music!
I am rating this disk V+ because it has several stressed grooves on either side, and one small dig on each side that causes my player to stick and repeat (this is a modern player with lightweight tonearm). Apart from these, the overall condition is about E-, with just light play wear and a few light scuffs. Overall plays cleanly, except as noted above. It looks and sounds like an E- disk that was played once with a bad needle. Labels are very clean. There are a couple of small edge chips that do not affect play.
Record will be shipped in a used generic sleeve, and will be carefully packaged. Payment is by Money Order or PayPal. No personal checks. Buyer in US pays actual media rate postage of $2.50 only, no packing or handling fees. No reserve.
Shipping will be combined for multiple wins to minimize shipping cost. I will gladly ship overseas, but please note that the US post office no longer provides international surface mail, so all shipments outside of the US will be by airmail. Please email if you have any questions.
