Description
Annette Hanshaw and her Sizzlin' Syncopaters on Perfect 12419 doing "There Must Be A Silver Lining" backed by "I Just Roll Along." The record color is a reddish brown, and comes with a very nice Perfect sleeve, as pictured. Recorded in NYC February, 1928. The Sizzlers on this date were Peter de Rose, p; Harry Reser, bj; Jimmy Lytell, cl (side 2 only).
Condition of this item is EX-, with the following comments: slight edge chips from standing storage, between 11-12 o'clock looking at side A. Slight scuff about 1/3 way in on side B which I did not hear on my player. Very clean record, seems to have been played infrequently. Sleeve not ripped or torn (8-24-09: just noticed one 1/4" vertical tear above "e" in "record" on front of sleeve), some wrinkles, and one corner bent from storage; clean. Insurance recommended, and can be quoted at end of auction.
