Description
Diva LP Annie Lennox RCA Label PL75326 Released 1992 A3/B3 Matrix
This is the original and Dutch first pressing (original pressings were either made in The Netherlands or Germany and not in the UK). Comes with the original lyric inner.
CONDITION Under a 35 watt halogen lamp there are just sleeve withdrawal lines and scuffs that can only be seen under the lamp. A visual grade of Excellent minus.
When played on my Pro-ject Debut III turntable it plays with no background noise at normal volume - no crackle, no clicks, no pops. It doesn't jump or stick. The record also has a lovely gloss. A play-grade of Excellent Plus.
The sleeve just has some light creasing and a small 'crack' on the back in the bottom right-hand corner. The Inner has some creasing, some ringwear and an 8cm split along a side seam. Because of the split the cover grade is Fair but would otherwise grade as Very Good.
Photos are of actual item and are not 'stock' photos.
OVERALL GRADE (record / cover - See grading guide below)
EXCELLENT / FAIR
GRADING GUIDE - IMPORTANT!
I visually examine all records under a strong 35w halogen lamp, which shows up ALL defects.
I strictly grade my records according to the Rare Record Price Guide (RRPG), which, to me, means as follows:
MINT- Must be sealed
NEAR MINT - Totally unmarked, no scratches, not even faint 'hairlines' / sleeve withdrawal marks or any other signs of having been played.
EXCELLENT - No scratches, just signs of having been played, such as the odd faint 'hairline' sleeve withdrawal mark that is barely visible under a strong lamp, or spindle trails on the label.
VERY GOOD - The first mild scratches have begun to appear, but only very, very few.
GOOD - More scratches than Very Good and more severe, but I am confident that the record will play through without skips or sticking and will still provide a good listening experience.
FAIR - The record may not play through properly with a chance of it jumping and / or it will play with significant background noise.
POOR - It definitely won't play without skipping or sticking.
Below Near Mint I will use plus or minus with a grade to highlight fine differences.
COVER GRADES
My cover grades are EXACTLY as stated in Record Collector magazine / RRPG. Therefore, if a cover is defaced, stained or torn it CANNOT grade better than FAIR.
All my records are dispatched using stiffeners and card mailers.
