Antique 1850's EAPG Argus Thumbprint Flint Glass Covered Compote Bakewell, Pears Co

8 1/2" Tall by 5" Wide
Beautiful Flint Glass Compote rings like a bell.  Made around 1850 by several factories including Bakewell Pears, Challinor and McKee. EAPG Argus pattern often referred to as Thumbprint. 
Three mold marks, a few bubbles and wear of bottom typical of glass of this peroid.
In very good condition.  Has some minor chips or flakes on the points of the lid where it fits into the base.  Most of them have a few flakes as flint glass was soft and chips or flakes very easily.  There are no big chips and can barely be seen when the compote is closed..  The inner ring by the points it okay.  It is hard to show in photos - see photo of points.
