Description
1995 2xLP import sampler record from Greece, released by Chart Records for Prince Music (closed Greek record store chain). Titled: The Next Generation, the records include 24 tracks from 24 different bands. Most notably is the inclusion of the 4:29 studio version of Dave Matthews Band's Ants Marching. This is the only piece of the classic album 'Under the Table and Dreaming,' available on vinyl.
Other bands include: The Presidents of the United States of America (Lump), Sugar Ray (10 Seconds Down), Deftones (7 Words), Filter (Hey Man Nice Shot), Mudhoney (Generation Spokesmodel), Cypress Hill (Throw Your Set In The Air), Oasis (Whatever), and many others. Includes original record jacket (Very good + condition with some creases along the bottom edge and lower left corner. Visible ring wear on front and back of the jacket and inner sleeves. Small 1/4 inch gouge in back of jacket (picture 2, along the left side). Includes two full color track list record sleeves, excellent condition with some ring wear. Both records have a some light marks but playback is excellent. The Ants track is perfect. No skips, pops or jumps. If you're buying this record for a band other than DMB, let me know and I'll get you more details about the other bands/tracks.
Most of the text on the record is in English, but some of the smaller legal info is in Greek. Don't miss your chance to get this rare record from a reputable US seller.
