About This Record. This is another really wierd LP from my collection by a Prog Rock Psych band called Aphrodite's Child which few have heard of, except when you mention the brainchild behind this band was/is Vangelis of Chariot's of Fire fame. This LP has everything, from fuzz sparky guitar to something your girlfriend might like. This is the very rare original USA version in gatefold Vertigo Swirl form. The reason it is in such nice condition is that I bought it more than 25 years ago at Oak Folk (now equally cool Treehouse Records), placed it in a plastic sleeve, and played it only a couple of times. The slight ring wear was there when I bought it long ago . . .see all my photos please.
The front cover says: Aphrodite's Child anyone who has intelligence may interpret the number of the beast. It is a Man's Number. This number is 666 (The apocalyse of John, 13/18) composed by Vangelis Papathanassiou Lyrics by Costas Ferris.

Cover Condition. Strong EX-. See photos! Light shelf wear, upper and lower light corner dings, medium ring wear on bottom of front and rear cover. See Photos. The other one or two copies of this LP I have seen had covers much worse than this one.
Vinyl Condition. EX+. Very nice, some light paper marks. Bright and shiney vinyl.
Label Condition. EX+ (light age evidence) SEE PHOTOs!
Inner Sleeve. The original paper innersleeves are not included because I discarded them when I bought this LP about 25 years ago and put them in polylined sleeves since replaced (there never were anything other than generic innersleeves for this LP, although correct me if I am wrong); although these records will come housed in nice new rice paper innersleeves because I just cleaned them on my VPI Record machine
About Me. I have been a Record Collector for over 35 years. With one kid now in college, I often sell records so I can buy more vinyl! 99% of what I sell is vinyl; read my Feedback! Common LPs are a waste of your time and mine! I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept in well preserved. This comes in a new rice paper equivalent sleeve, and new 3 or 4 mil plastic sleeve.
