Description
This is an excellent vintage LP by The Apple Pie Motherhood Band on Atlantic SD 8189 (stereo), entitled "The Apple Pie Motherhood Band," from 1968.
"One of the finest efforts to come out of the "Bosstown Sound" marketing campaign, APMB's first disc consisted of straight-ahead psychedelically tinged rock. The opening cut, a 7-minute version of "Born Under A Bad Sign" rips Cream's version, released a roughly the same time, to absolute shreds! Likewise, the instrumental "Bread And Jam" juxtaposes keyboards and fuzz to fantastic effect. But APMB was equally adept at softer fare, like the original ballad "Yesterday's New Song", or their cover of David Blue's "I'd Like To Know". The centerpiece of the album is "Apple Pie", a surprisingly patriotic sentiment for the time, with breathtaking call-and-response harmonies in the chorus..."

Labels are perfectly clean! There are no stickers and no writing!
The jacket is all but perfect! It is made of thick brown stock. The grade is NM, because there are no splits, no bent corners, no writing, and no ring wear!
This is NOT a cut-out LP, there are absolutely no cut corners, saw marks, or drill holes! No bar code on the back cover.
