(1978 AR 101) This is without a doubt one of those proto 1970's metal records that foresaw the future of heavy metal. There really isn't much to compare it to in its time frame except for perhaps really early Judas Priest(Sad Wings of Destiny) at twice the tempo! Most of it is extremely heavy with killer guitar.It just roars along! There are a couple clunkers that spoil the party, but this is one sizzling album.It was recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis and seemingly from Paris, TN. It's an ultra rare monster of an album and one of the best of its kind.The last couple that sold were close to the $400 range, so you know it's not a poser thing! To my knowledge only a handful has ever turned up. The vinyl has a small blemish that does not afect the play but requires me to downgrade it from NM. the jacket has a tear on back (see photo) and there is a small tear on the bottom right seam. there is some ever so slight seam wearn as well, butthe all black jacket magnifies the significance.
