Description

Offbeat Italo Acid Prog Fusion riding the thin line between Canterbury rock and Herbie Hancock workouts. A few string section interludes and some percussion/voice experimentation break it up at times, but Area keep the heavy freak funk flying. An interesting album that should appeal to fans of Magma, Gentle Giant, Hatfield and the North, etc. It's an VG++ 1976 original Italian gatefold pressing with signs of storage wear on the cover and along the seams. Check the many photos for all that. The vinyl is clean and only shows visible evidence of being handled on side two. Actually closer to EX and will slap gloriously loud and clear on your Technics SL-1200MK7-S. It's a seriously adventurous listen and is a massive step away from any sort of conventional rock arrangement.
