Rare and Out of Print.  The regular pressing is hard to find.  This one is impossible!

Near Mint/VG***

Graded Cover/Record

I am selling off my entire Pop, Rock and Roll, Jazz and Surf record collection that I have been collecting for over 42 years. Up for bid is a brand new like copy of The Blue Note 45RPM Reissue Series from AcousTech Music Matters series!  I bought the entire series in 2014 and so this is the original edition and played once still with original plastic wrap!  Warm analog sound!

Arnett Cobb: Sizzlin' Prestige 7227 Analogue Productions: Near Mint/VG***  The only reason for the official VG grade is due to a lacquering flaw as described below.  Otherwise, vinyl is super clean brand new and looks and plays Near Mint played only by me once! The only other flaws would be minor superficial scuffs/hairlines from taking the record out of it's inner plastic lined sleeve.  The VG physical flaw is what looks like a lacquering flaw from the factory on 3 sides which have what looks like a light gray colored paint brush strokes of about 6"  inches on each side on the outermost part of the vinyl.  The width of these strokes is about 1/2".  Side A has three of these.  Side B has four. Side C has three and Side D has three.  I played it last night and this sounds absolutely fantastic and I could not discern any flaws in the sound.  Looks like this is a visual defect only and does not compromise the sound.  Maybe when the vinyl was hot off the press they put it in the plastic liner and it caused a reaction?  I have no idea.  Regardless, here is your chance to get this at a great price!  Analogue Productions pressings are known for their fantastic fidelity.  Limited Edition # 0343!  Cover is super clean and still looks brand new with super nice gloss.  Original plastic lined paper inner sleeves are in very good condition.

Another of Cobb's great Prestige sessions, this one from late 1960. Cobb and his tenor sax are joined by Red Garland on piano, J.C. Heard on drums and George Tucker on bass. The quartet cruises through six tunes – including two Cobb originals and a couple of old standards in "The Way You Look Tonight" and "Georgia On My Mind."

1. Sweet Georgia Brown 2. Black Velvet 3. Blue Sermon 4. Georgia On My Mind 5. Sizzlin' 6. The Way You Look Tonight

Be on the lookout for the rest of my collection including 2 other artists that have the same flaw Arnett Cobb Sizzlin' and Horace Parlan Us 3!

Shipping: Shipping in the US will be via USPS Media Mail $8 and will be mailed in a sturdy LP mailer.
