Description

On offer are TWO (2) rare records of ARNOLD SCHOENBERG's 'String Quartets #1 and #4', performed by the KOLISCH STRING QUARTET and released c. 1950-1951 on 12" red vinyl 33 1/3 rpm microgroove discs as ALCO ALP-1002 and ALP-1005. The records plays well and clearly on my REK-O-KUT 'Rondine 3' turntable fitted with a Stanton cartridge and mono microgroove stylus, with some intrusive noise. The discs are VG (Very Good) condition with clean vinyl and labels. They look lightly played. The blank-back jacket shows some edge wear but there are no split seams. There are light signs of soiling or staining. Please see all the photos as they are considered part of the description.
