Description
Mega rare original LP of Art Blakey - A Night at Birdland Volume 2 (Blue Note 1522 - mono) Original issue blue and white Lexington address labels with Deep Groove, RVG and ear on both sides. No trademark "R" on either label. Also with rare "Bird" drawing cover. The great Art Blakey along with Clifford Brown, Lou Donaldson, Horace Silver and Curly Russell in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG+ condition with plenty of marks that will make noise - not for the audiophile, but not actually trashed either - it played through on my set, but yes, you will hear a lot of noise on this one. The cover is in VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, old tape on the top and bottom seams and paper loss on the spine (though the spine is NOT split). NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. Definitely NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore at any price?
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
Shipping discounts available for multiple items sent together to any country.
Mailing costs have gone up. Postal rates have increased, the cost of record mailers have increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing (in addition to Paypal’s fees on mailing payments). I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.
International mailing costs: International overseas mailing (Europe, Japan, Asia etc…) for one LP would be $29.00. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on shipping, Paypal fees as well as mailers and packing materials. One LP to Canada would be $20.00
US mailing costs: Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on shipping, Paypal fees as well as mailers and packing materials.
Paypal accepted or write for other payment options. Serious bidders only - payment must be received in ten days from notification. All items guaranteed upon return in condition sent, but mailing costs are NOT refundable.
