Description

EmArcy MG 26030 drummer logo, includes Joe Gordon, trumpet; Gigi Gryce, alto sax; Bernard Griggs, bass; Walter Bishop, piano. 8 tracks. Cover: Mint(-) Intact and clean with sticker with former owner's name along with minor aging on the back cover. Fine, gloss finished front cover. Record: Described as follows: Visually shows no wear, however there is some " cloudiness" on the vinyl surface. This is uneven. On Side A there is very little"cloudiness"; Side B has much more. This seems to indicate some natural deterioration to the vinyl. This change seems to occur on 1 side of the record only and is common to EmArcy production of a certain early time period. It is not caused by wear. There is no surface noise on Side A and it could be considered as Mint or, possibly Mint(-). Side B has some light background noise throughout and a few clicks at intervals. The background noise is fairly steady throughtout so that I would rate the side as Fair. In spite of the background noise, the music can be heard clearly, but there is a persistent audible noise. Audibly checked.
