Description
This is the original deep-groove “P” pressing of Art Blakey “A Night at Birdland, Volume 3” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 5039. The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; a scratch on Side 2 makes a few light non-repetitive tics; perhaps played once or twice. The frame cover is clean and bright throughout; rubbing along the bottom seam, at the corners; the bottom right corner has a ding. Personnel include Clifford Brown, Lou Donaldson, Horace Silver, and Curley Russell.
