Description

Art Blakey on Blue Note 1522

This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Art Blakey “A Night at Birdland, Vol. 2” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1522.  The flat rim playing surface has a few very light inaudible handling marks but otherwise is in near-new condition, with an amazingly high luster; perhaps played once or twice.  The coated frame cover is bright and clean throughout; rubbing along 4” of the top, at the spine; ½” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening.
