Description
Rare original yellow label New York address deep groove LP (Prestige 7085) "When Farmer Met Gryce" featuring Art Farmer (trumpet), Gigi Gryce with all star groups featuring Freddie Redd or Horace Silver on piano. Classic Hard Bop at it's best in one of the rarest LPs from the era. The LP itself is a solid VG+ (some marks, but nothing serious or deep). The original laminated cover (also New York address) is excellent - no splits, tape or writing of any kind. Acknowledged as one of the toughest New York Prestige LPs to find, you'll be hard pressed to find a better one (or another one at all!)
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials. Mailing costs would be $4.00 for media rate mail to a U.S. address. Overseas winner will be quoted the appropriate mailing rate at the close of the auction. I accept checks, money orders, or cash (sent at sender's risk). Just browsing? e-mail me for a list of close to fifteen hundred rare jazz LPs offered by private mail auction - none of which will be offered on e-bay. Thanks for your interest and good luck.
