Description

Mega Rare 10" LP of Art Pepper Quintet (Discovery 3023-mono) Original dark red label with deep groove on both sides. Classic 1954 session that included Jack Montrose (ts); Claude williamson (p); Monte Budwig (b); and Larry Bunker (d). Recorded in Hollywood August 25, 1954. Titles are : Nutmeg, Deep Purple, Cinnamon, What's New, Thyme Time, Straight Life, Art's Oregano and The Way You Look!  GRADE/DESCRIPTION (Cover) A few small stains (see picture) and a mark from the original sticker price on the front; back of the cover is blank and very clean. The seams are perfect except for 1/2 " split on the lower right corner. Considering that this cover is 55 years old, it is in fantastic condition. I would give it a strong VG+. (Record) LP plays beautifully, some surface noise, but does not overwhelm the music. A few light scuff marks, but overall a VG+. An unbelievable opportunity to secure a piece of jazz history!!

Shipping Info: The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials. Priority shipping in the USA is $7.00 and $2.00 each additional item. Overseas is $15.00 for airmail, $ 4.00 each additional. Canada $10.00 for airmail. Insurance is included in above pricing. I accept checks and Paypal. Checks will have to clear before shipment. Any questions, give me a shout. Thanks for your interest and good luck! John
