Description
This is the original deep-groove mono pressing of Art Pepper “Meets the Rhythm Section” on Contemporary C3532. (Contemporary used the “C” prefix when there were only mono issues. When they began stereo issues, they used an “M” prefix for mono and “S” prefix for stereo.) The playing surface is MINT, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The frame cover is also in extraordinary condition – bright and clean throughout – with the rare two-color (blue, red) back slick; the spine shows 1 ¼” wear at the top ¾” wear at the bottom, and small areas of edge wear.
