Description
This is Blue Note Records BLP 4047, Art Taylor A T's Delight, a 47 West 63rd St., deep groove, microgroove label, original mono issue of this classic record, featuring Stanley Turrentine, Wynton Kelly and Paul Chambers, with RVG and the ear (p) mark stamped in the dead wax. The record is visually in VG condition, with marks on both sides, but it plays much better than it looks with only occasional light background crackle audible in quiet spots and some groove distortion audible at the beginning of side 1. This is a fine listening experience. The glossy cover, with the 43 West 61st St., New York 23 address, has some spine damage (see photo 6) and shelf wear, but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels show some spindle marks. This is an excellent initial "play" grade copy of this beautiful original mono Blue Note with all the proper markings evident. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP-12 in mono mode. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple wins. Thanks for looking.
