Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers - Night In Tunisia. Netherlands, 1979 vinyl LP that has been signed by Art Blakey in 1984. This LP came from the collection of legendary UK Journalist, Roy Carr; who interviewed Blakey several times and on this particular occasion, brought some of his AB collection with him, and during the interview, got Art to sign the LP's. I bought many of Roy''s Jazz collection from a highly respected collector/dealer/record shop owner over the past few years. This LP is 100% authentic and I can pass on any details regarding it's purchase to any potential buyer.
The LP itself is in VG+ condition, no splits, creases or tears. I have played the record once and as far as I remember, it played great. It has been kept in a high quality re-sealable sleeve since purchase. It is a beautiful artefact from one of the greatest Jazz artists. I have one other signed Blakey LP in my other auactions. I also have a signed copy of 'Moanin'.....which I may also part with it.....in time.
Postage is first class/signed in the UK.
