This auction is for an unplayed copy of The Kinks 'Arthur' from the all-analogue Kevin Gray-mastered Kinks 'Mono Collection' boxset. Having given up waiting for individual releases of the contained albums I decided to buy the box for the ones that I want and sell-off the albums that I don't. As these mono albums are impossible to find as mint Pye originals (let alone sealed or unplayed, even the stereo mixes going for absurd sums, e.g., see recent: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/THE-KINKS-VILLAGE-GREEN-PRESERVATION-SOCIETY-MEGARARE-SEALED-ORIG-68-REPRISE-LP/142452030631) and the various individual RSD releases are all of digital parentage, the Mono Collection is the only way to find analogue vinyl copies of these albums. Hopefully our tastes will differ and the discs that I don't want will be the ones that you do!

Sleeve and disc are mint and unplayed, although the latter does bear some of the superficial pressing markings that are regrettably all too common with modern vinyl pressings, and I returned two copies of this boxset to Amazon before I found one that was free of unacceptable disc blemishes and sleeve damage. The 'Victoria' insert/lyric sheet is included and similarly mint.

I'm auctioning half of the boxset, i.e., 'Kinda Kinks', 'Kink Kontroversy', 'Live at Kelvin Hall', 'Arthur', and the "Black Album", all mono, all-analogue, all unplayed, all mint-sleeved, and all with the same £15 start-price -- including free postage anywhere in the EU, so a bargain to be had.

As a collector of vinyl myself I appreciate the importance of robust packing so the disc and sleeve will be posted in a custom LP mailer with cardboard stiffening to both sides and bubblewrap to the four corners to avoid corner bumping/crushing.
