Description
Arthur (Lee Harper) "Dreams and Images" ( LHI Records 12,000 Mono ) from the waning days of the "Summer of Love" --1967. Did a headphone check to verify that it's a mono press. It definitely is monaural. The music is sparse soft fragile folk psych with a slightly baroque feel that is most unique. The dead wax area has the Bell Sound stamp that indicates the mastering. The cover grades a conservative VG ++ due to initials ( L.H.) marked on front cover(see scan) and back cover that are the same size. The initials are the same as the producer and owner of the label (Lee Hazelwood), but i have no way of knowing whether these are actually his. The cover's edges have a little age yellowing that is amplified somewhat by the digital scan, as it looks much better in person..The record is in Mint minus condition when graded under a strong light source. Looks as though it has never been played. The label also has the same initials as the cover. It also has "promotional nfs" factory stamped on the label. One more thing... The bottom edge of the cover also has a little roughness in the paper...not a seam split (yet). No seam splitting should develop in shipment, as I always ship outside the original sleeve.
