Description
This is Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Ritchie Valens (under the name of Arvee Allens) playing "Fast Freight" and "Big Baby Blues" on Del-Fi 4111 from 1958. This instrumental rock record looks VG with considerable surface markings but plays VG++ with scattered background noises and comes in a Del-Fi records company sleeve. The picture sleeve is a custom sleeve made in Canada or England and is in MINT condition. This picture sleeve is a one-off sleeve that was not mass produced. This item comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve with a cardboard backer separating the record from the picture sleeves. Normally I wouldn't list a record that was only VG but this record is very scarce. This is the only copy I've seen in over 40 years and there is no sales history on eBay. if you are collecting Ritchie Valens, you need this for your collection.
