Atomic Rooster was incredibly popular in the England Hard Rock scene of the early 70’s. Their unique Power Progressive Hard Rock style and Hammond Organ / Guitar style influenced many young bands like Deep Purple, Iron Butterfly and Emerson Lake and Palmer (Carl Palmer was the original drummer for AR). Death Walks Behind You is certainly, critically and commercially, their most successful album and often hailed as a classic of the progressive rock genre. It also produced the hit single "Tomorrow Night" (UK #11), which became one of the band's best-known songs.
