Various Artists "Audio Guide To The Alan Parsons Projects"
This is a US vinyl pressing on Arista Records SP-68 from 1979. It is a Promo Only double album in a single pocket cover. Alan Parsons was the Sound Engineer on albums by The Beatles, Wings, Pink Floyd, and many others.
This sampler has 3 songs by The Beatles, 3 songs by Paul McCartney & Wings, 3 songs by Pink Floyd, 3 songs by Al Stewart, and a few others. Alan Parsons talks between the songs.
The matrix runouts are etched : Side 1 : SP-68-SA-4 CTH and Side 2 : SP 68 SC-2CX and Side 3 : T1 SP 68-1CTH and Side 4 : X1 SP 68 SD = 2CX.
The Beatles songs are : 'A Day In The Life', 'Get Back', and 'Maxwell's Silver Hammer'. The Paul McCartney & Wings songs are : 'Maybe I'm Amazed', 'I Am Your Singer', and 'Hi Hi Hi'. The Pink Floyd songs are : 'Breathe', 'Money', and 'Time'. The Al Stewart songs are : 'End Of The Day', 'Year Of The Cat', and 'Time Passages'. Other artist include The Hollies, Steve Harley, Pilot, John Miles, and Ambrosia. Then there are 13 songs by The Alan Parsons Project.
Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ / Records are M- & M-
The cover is VG+ with no writing and no seam splits. There are tiny rubs and wear on the front cover and a cut corner at bottom right. The vinyl look near mint and they play near mint. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. The records come in a plain white inner sleeves.

I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling records in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Port Townsend, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. On Discogs I am 'Fragilerecords'. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home. I am a record collector, not a DJ, so I almost never play my records.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut composite cardboard. I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 1 pound 14 ounces
The winner has to pay for the postage. It will be shipped by Media mail to a US winner. I will print postage through Ebay and you will get an automatic email with the tracking number. International winners will get shipping through the Ebay Global Shipping Program. I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday). This is from a no smoking and no pets home. I do not accept returns.
