Here's a fabulous copy of Flamenco Fever, the M&K RealTime LP direct to disc masterpiec - Miller&Kreisel RT 107
This is recognized as one of the great audiophile recordings of all time - it is included on many popular audiophile lists. Bid hard if you want this one.
Condition - The jacket is still in plastic, but it has suffered a little bit of wear on the bottom and at the corners where the plastic has opened. Overall, the jacket grades at Near Mint Minus. The record looks super shiny. I hadn't heard this before, so I gave it a spin - wow - when those big shoes hit the floor, it's like your feet are on the same floor. I will grade it at Near Mint as it looks super shiny and sounded fantastic throughout 99 percent of the record. But, there were two small sections on the first side at the end of the first song and the beginning of the second song where some very light ticking is audible. It might be a factory defect, or it might be cleanable (I did a little spot cleaning on the section that helped, but did not totally correct the problem).The noise is very light, and it's mostly where there is audience noise, but it lasts for maybe 10 or 15 seconds at each point. Like I said, I will still grade this at NM, but I did hear a very small bit of noise at those two short points. Overall, this is still a fantastic, very glossy copy that looks as if was played by few if any people before me.
Regarding shipping - I use new high quality materials and pack carefully. When possible, I can combine shipping.
Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on records that have been unsealed - the highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint.
