Australian Rock Heritage Vol.1 (1981 Australian 20-track 12” vinyl LP Compilation album conceived, compiled, annotated & designed by Glen A. Baker featuring Australian Bands formed and established from 1961 through to 1968. This is when the Australian music scene, recorded and live, was really born and this album provides the listener with a taste of the known and the relative unknown artists - Astor – ALPS 1063).
By the early to mid 1960’s there was an explosion of live music in Town Halls such as those located in Kew, Dandenong, Springvale, Mordialloc, Preston, Coburg and many others, all hosting the now evolving local music scene. Bands including The Thunderbirds, The Chessmen, The Cherokees, The Loved Ones, The Phantoms are all collected here. LP housed in picture sleeve in near mint condition includes inner sheet with extensive liner notes and pics. Inner sheet shows a tape residue mark top LH corner.

The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve and any extra items are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX)
The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG)
The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.
GOOD (G)
The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.
CONDITION: This item is in excellent or mint condition unless stated above.
