Whitney Houston RIAA Hologram Multi-Platinum (5x) Sales Award (Arista 8-8212, 1985). Released in early 1985, Houston's eponymous debut spent fourteen weeks at the number-one spot in 1986, with three of its singles also peaking at the top position: "Saving All My Love for You," "How Will I Know," and "Greatest Love of All." Miss Houston also received four Grammy nominations, leading to a win in the "Best Pop Vocal Performance" category for "Saving All My Love For You." Rolling Stone named it the best album of 1986 and ranked it #254 on its 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. It has since been RIAA certified as 15x Platinum. According to the plaque beneath the platinum disc, this award was "Presented to David Rubinson to Commemorate the Sale of More Than 5,000,000 Copies of the Arista Records Album and Cassette 'Whitney Houston'".
